In its efforts to encourage young entrepreneurs to thrive, Gombe State Government said it will soon construct 27 modern markets across the 11 local governments areas of the state. This was disclosed on Wednesday by the State Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Nasiru Aliyu Muhammad when he represented Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, at the opening ceremony of a three day capacity building workshop organized by Kambu International Nigeria Limited in collaboration with the Bank of Industry, themed "Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Nation Building" at the Maidugu Hotel,GRA Gombe. PRESS RELEASE NAF ESTABLISHES DIRECTORATE OF VETERAN AFFAIRS In a bid to stimulate better welfare packages for Nigerian Air Force (NAF) veterans and their families, the Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Oladayo Amao has approved the immediate establishment of the Directorate of Veteran Affairs. The new Directorate, domiciled under the Administration Branch, will also be responsible for interfacing with similar structures in sister Services towards harnessing necessary benefits for NAF retirees under existing Federal Government programmes for veterans, among other responsibilities. Justice Mahmood Abdulgafar of the Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin on Friday, July 30, 2021 sentenced an undergraduate, one Abdulsalam Oyeyemi, to one-year imprisonment for falsely posing as American Military Officer to defraud unsuspecting victims.
