 Kufana Youths Apprehend Suspected Transformer Vandals, Hand Over Suspects To Police The Executive Chairman of Kajuru Local Government Council, Hon. Dauda Madaki, has commended the vigilance and bravery of youths in Kufana community following the arrest of suspected transformer vandals in the early hours of Tuesday. The suspects, identified as Denis Reuben of Kurmin Ido, Haruna Ado of Kurmin Kwari, and another individual, were reportedly caught while allegedly attempting to steal transformer coils. Their arrest was carried out by a patrol team led by Mr. Samaila Akawu, alongside the community Youth Leader, Mr. Chris Lingo, and other vigilant youths. Following the arrest, the suspects were handed over to the Nigeria Police Force for further investigation and possible prosecution. Reacting to the development, Hon. COURT HALTS INVESTIGATION INTO ALLEGED J-CARES MISAPPROPRIATION OF FUND. (PHOTO).

 Federal High Court has issued an interim injunction restraining Jigawa state government from taking any further step in the investigation of alleged misappropriation of COVID-19 Economic Recovery and stimulation program J-CARES Result Area II under FADAMA funds. The court sitting in Kano State granted the injunction in a suit filed by the former Jigawa State Coordinator of FADAMA III, Alhaji Aminu Isah Ringim, challenging the process followed by the government-appointed committee to review the implementation of the J-CARES FADAMA intervention in the state. Aminu Isah Ringim pray for the court to restrained the Jigawa state government from using the reports untill given a fair hearing.
