Also, 759 other prominent figures and organisations in Maitama II, Abuja. were also affected by the revocation which was for non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy.  PALM WINE DEALERS WARNED AGAINST DILUTING PRODUCTS

Following the resolution of Gov. Chukwuma Soludo to make Anambra State liveable and prosperous Homeland where people can live, work and enjoy themselves, Palm wine dealers in the state have been cautioned against diluting their up-wine with sugar or its like to avoid jeopardizing the lives of Ndi Anambra.


The Anambra State Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment and Tourism, Mr. Don Onyenji gave the warning during a radio programme Igboamaka with the Wazobia Fm Onitsha.


Commissioner Onyenji hinted that his ministry and the Ministry of Health would work out modality on how to monitor palm wine being consumed in the state in the interest of the masses.


He informed palm wine dealers that Akwu-ukwu has a law that prohibit anyone from adulteration of their up-wine and urged others in the business to emulate Ndi Akwu-ukwu in that regard.


Meanwhile, Onyenji thanked Gov. Soludo for reinstating history in the state's Secondary School curriculum, noting that it would help expose young people to the trajectory path of the state so far.


He, then, praised the governor for implementing the state burial law, emphasizing that people no longer sell their property to bury their loved ones.


He said, "Gov. Soludo is working at the solution fun City Awka that will have amusement park, country club, water park expected to be the best in Africa on completion, noting that before the end of the year, people will start visiting the facility for leisure.


A caller during the programme, Uzoamaka from 33 demanded for a law that will be controlling the activities of masquerades in all communities in the state, expressing worry the level of havock caused by masquerades in Umuawulu.


Another caller on the programme Oluchi Chima, also complained that masquerade is causing more problem in Awka road at Onitsha during festive seasons and called on the government to check such excesses.
