 M23 says hundreds of Burundi soldiers captured in latest Congo offensive The Rwanda-backed M23 group has captured hundreds of Burundian soldiers during its latest offensive in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, a rebel official said, as clashes continued despite a warning from the Trump administration. Last week M23 entered the strategic town of Uvira near the border with Burundi, less than a week after the presidents of Congo and Rwanda met in Washington with U.S. President Donald Trump and affirmed their commitment to a peace deal known as the Washington Accords. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday that Rwanda's actions in eastern Congo violated the Washington Accords and vowed to "take action to ensure promises made to the President are kept". Rwanda denies supporting M23 and has blamed Congolese and Burundian forces for the renewed fighting.  EPL: I’m pushing Osimhen to join Chelsea, he loves the club – Mikel Obi


Former Super Eagles midfielder, John Obi Mikel, has joked that he is the agent to Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen and said he is trying to get him to join Chelsea.


Osimhen is expected to cost his next club as much as €130million, which is the value of his release clause.


However, Mikel Obi admits that the Blues face interest from Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.


Mikel said: “I think there’s genuine interest between both (Chelsea and Osimhen).


“I think he loves the club, he wants to come to the club, obviously he wants to follow in my footsteps as a Nigerian player who has played for Chelsea, like Victor Moses, Celestine Babayaro, there’s not a lot of us.


“But he also has a lot of interest, like PSG, Man United, but I’m still pushing, sending him messages, trying to make sure he doesn’t expect too much, just narrow your mind on one club: The Blues!”
