AN INDIANA MAN WOKE UP TO FIND A MAN HIGH ON K2, NEXT TO HIM IN BED. (PHOTO)

 An Indiana man woke up to find a man high on K2.... next to him in bed. Police in Evansville, Indiana received an unusual call in the early morning hours of Sunday, (today) March 2nd. The caller informed dispatchers they had been the victim of a strange home invasion. When police arrived at the home on the 100 block of South Green Road they found 49-year-old Jeremy Holtzclaw holding his K2 pipe, standing on the balcony.  As police spoke with the victim, the full story emerged.  The homeowner told police he had woken up in the early morning and discovered Holtzclaw lying in bed next to him.  The startled home owner screamed for Holtzclaw to get out of his room. At this point, Holtzclaw fell from the bed. The second resident of the home says that's when she saw Holtzclaw laying at the foot of the bed and dragged him from the room onto the balcony. SADLY, TWO TODDLERS HAVE LOST THEIR LIVES AFTER AN EXPLOSION AND SUBSEQUENT HIUSE FIRE IN BUTLER, MISSOURI. (PHOTO).

 Sadly, two toddlers have lost their lives after an explosion and subsequent house fire in Butler, Missouri. First responders received a call regarding an explosion that led to a house fire in Butler at approximately 11:30 p.m., this Saturday, March 1st.  When crews arrived on scene they learned that 5 people lived in the home but only 3 had made it out. They learned that as they escaped the flames, they were tragically unable to get two 2-year-old children out of the home.  Firefighters attempted to rescue the two trapped toddlers but were driven back by the intense flames. Sadly, both toddlers perished in the home. The three individuals who were able to escape the home were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The Bates County Sheriff's Department and the Missouri State Fire Marshall's Office have launched an investigation into the cause of the house fire. Our thoughts are with the families of these two precious young victims.

 Jordan rejects calls for 'parallel government' in Sudan Jordan has rejected any moves that could jeopardize Sudan’s unity, including efforts to form a "parallel government," which would hamper the settlement of the crisis there. A statement by the country's Foreign Ministry said ministry spokesman Sufian Qudah reaffirmed Jordan’s strong support for initiatives that promote a peaceful resolution to the crisis in Sudan while safeguarding the country’s security, stability, sovereignty and the well-being of its people, Anadolu Agency reported. Earlier, Egypt and Saudi Arabia also expressed their rejection of any attempt to form a parallel Sudanese government.  749 LGAs Fail to Submit Account Details, Delaying Local Government Autonomy The Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF) has identified major obstacles to implementing the July 11, 2024, Supreme Court ruling on local government autonomy. Key Challenges: 749 out of 774 local governments have yet to submit their bank account details, a key requirement for receiving direct allocations. Determining which LGAs have democratically elected leadership remains a challenge. Government Efforts to Resolve Issues: The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) Technical Sub-Committee discussed the issue during a recent meeting chaired by AGF Oluwatoyin Madein. The OAGF and the Attorney General’s Office have begun discussions to address the setbacks. Only Delta State’s 25 local governments have submitted their account details so far. In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Prof. Tukur A. Muhammad-Baba, the ACF acknowledged the gravity of the allegations of sexual harassment and intimidation raised by Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, which have fueled public debate. The group warned that various reactions, including statements from Akpoti-Uduaghan’s husband, could damage the National Assembly’s reputation.
