 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. FUEL TANKER EXPLODED IN ABUJA.

the raging inferno at Conoil            Today thursday,a tanker which caught fire as it was discharging petrol at the con oil fuel station opposite the head quarters of Nigeria petrol corporation in the central business Area in Abuja.the explosion shook buildings several kilometers away and resulted in huge fire ball that can be seen around Abuja.NNPC immediately asked its workres to evacuate their offices.the explosion shattered glasses at nearby millennium Builders plaza.it was learnt that one person was injured by the splinter from the glasses at the plaza.workers in other offices around the petrol station also ran out from their premises while others immediately moved their vehicles away.men from the federal fire service deployed several trucks to put out the fire and control it from spreading to nearby total filling station.
