 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.                    According to a military source,two Toyota Hiace buses loaded with the girls were driven into the Maimalari Barracks in Maiduguri this evening {today tuesday}.Dfence spokesperson,Chris Olukolade,confirmed the development,he said the exercise is still ongoing and that appropriate statement would be made soon.The missing Chibok girls,were kidnapped by the deadly Islamic group Boko Hara since April 14 from their school.
