 TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker. AT LEAST 7 PEOPLE DIED TODAY,AS A FEMALE SUICIDE BOMBER,BLEW UP HERSELF IN BIU MARKET.

                            The bomb exploded today,mid afternoon in Biu.Biu is 180 kilometres south of Borno,state capital of Maiduguri.The female suicide bomber blew up herself in a crowded market,and atleast seven people were killed in the blast.Eye witness said ''The market was filled with hundreds of buyers and traders when a van loaded with goods and people,drove into the premises.Nobody suspected anything because it is normal for vehicles to set p to that level,but as the driver was about to stop,the bomb exploded and atleast seven people were seen dead''.
