 LSDPC REBUILDS LASTMA ZONE 25 OFFICE DESTROYED DURING #ENDSARS, DONATES OPERATIONAL VEHICLES The Lagos State Development and Property Corporation (LSDPC) has officially handed over a newly renovated office complex and two operational vehicles to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) Zone 25, covering the Bariga and Oworonshoki axis, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment to supporting public institutions and improving service delivery, The office was destroyed during the 2020 #EndSARS protests and had remained abandoned for several years. Recognising the importance of providing a conducive working environment for frontline traffic officers, LSDPC undertook the reconstruction and renovation of the facility and donated two operational vehicles to strengthen LASTMA's capacity to respond to traffic incidents more effectively. I congratulate the Nigerian youth on this auspicious occasion of our National Youth Day, a welcome tradition which will annually avail us the privilege of addressing issues concerning their development.
This day should be a reminder of the need to rededicate ourselves to our commitment to uplift, train, employ and empower our youth who are the future of our nation.
Ogun State Government has always shown genuine commitment to this cause, by providing necessary support and empowerment to its local youth league.
I must commend President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR for the declaration of every November 1 as our National Youth Day. The President is clearly a leader who believes that a nation that neglects her youth neglects progress.
