 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly. *ANAMBRA STATE POLICE COMMAND BULLETIN OF 8TH MARCH, 2022*

CP ECHENG URGES CITIZENS TO SHUN JUNGLE JUSTICE

_as operatives rescue 3 armed robbery suspects_

The Commissioner of Police, Anambra Command, *CP Echeng Echeng* calls on *Ndi-Anambra* to refrain from engaging in jungle justice. The *CP* made this call today Tuesday 8/3/2022 following an attempt by an angry mob to set three(3) alleged armed robbery suspects on fire. The timely arrival and intervention of some police operatives at the scene saved the suspects from being lynched.

The suspects: *Ifeanyi Nsiegbunam ‘M’ 23years, Chinemelum Nwafor ‘M’ 27years, Nnamdi Nwakwesili ‘M’ 40yrs,* were alleged to have on 05/03/2022 at about 10am, dispossessed a student of *Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University*, Igbariam of her belongings. Incriminating items found and recovered from the suspects include: one locally made single barrel pistol, a white coloured dagger, a big saw, a big hammer, a black and brown coloured lady's bag, an Infinix phone, a black Panasonic phone and three(3) phone chargers.

The *CP* who was full of thanks to the public for the arrest of the three suspects and for their continuous assistance to the Police in the fight against crimes in the State, however, enjoins them to always follow the due process by handing over arrested suspects to the Police. He notes that this would afford the Police opportunity to conduct appropriate investigation and prosecution of suspects and ensure justice.             

Meanwhile, the *CP* assures that the three rescued suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigation is completed.
