 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. EFCC Arrests Suspected Yahoo-Yahoo Boys in Makurdi

The operatives of the Makurdi Zonal Command of the EFCC on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, arrested two (2) suspected internet fraudsters known as Yahoo-Yahoo Boys, in Makurdi, Benue State.

The suspects are Ikenna Ojobeagu, 22 and Martins Ezeorah, 24, both from Igbo Etiti local Government Area of Enugu State. 

The suspects who claimed they are sports betting agents, were arrested following actionable intelligence.
Items recovered from them include one Lexus ES 350, 5 smartphone phones, 6 different types of laptop computers, charms, 62 inches Hisense TV and several incriminating documents.
