 LSDPC REBUILDS LASTMA ZONE 25 OFFICE DESTROYED DURING #ENDSARS, DONATES OPERATIONAL VEHICLES The Lagos State Development and Property Corporation (LSDPC) has officially handed over a newly renovated office complex and two operational vehicles to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) Zone 25, covering the Bariga and Oworonshoki axis, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment to supporting public institutions and improving service delivery, The office was destroyed during the 2020 #EndSARS protests and had remained abandoned for several years. Recognising the importance of providing a conducive working environment for frontline traffic officers, LSDPC undertook the reconstruction and renovation of the facility and donated two operational vehicles to strengthen LASTMA's capacity to respond to traffic incidents more effectively. Gov. Buni Donates 300 Riyals To Yobe Pilgrims in Saudi Arabia

Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni CON, (Chiroman Gujba) has donated the sum of 300 Saudi Riyals to each of the 2,018 Yobe State Pilgrims that performed the 2023 Hajj in the Holy land of Meccah.

The donation is to support the Hadaya sacrifice that is obligatory for the pilgrims and other associated religious duties in the Holy land.

Alh. Umar Adamu, one of the Pilgrims in the Holy land said Gov. Buni donated the 300 Riyals to all the Yobe state Pilgrims that performed this year's Hajj in the Holy land, Saudi Arabia.

He said the Yobe State Pilgrims are appreciative of the governor's gesture and reciprocated the gesture by offering special prayers on the special day of Arafat to the State and the Country at large.

Gov. Buni had in the past Hajj exercises made similar donations to support Pilgrims from the state.

The Yobe State Government under the administration of Governor Mai Mala Buni continued to partner with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) in ensuring hitch-free Hajj exercises.

Recall, the National Hajj Commission (NAHCON) has awarded Yobe State Muslims Pilgrims Commission as the 'best performing' State Muslim Pilgrims Board during 2022 Hajj.

The Award was based on the report of the Assessment and Award Committee for Hajj 2022 that scored Yobe State as the highest in various fields of service delivery during 2022 Hajj.
