CJN Bans Lawyers, Court Officials to Stop Using ‘Barrister’ as Official Title The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, has directed lawyers, court officials and other legal personnel to discontinue the use of “Barrister” as a prefix to their names in all official engagements at the Supreme Court. The directive was contained in a memorandum dated July 13, 2026, and signed by the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court, Kabir Akanbi. The circular, which was addressed to litigation staff, legal practitioners, court registrars and lawyers, stated that the directive took immediate effect and was aimed at upholding professional standards within the apex court. I don’t expect to be loved totally, says actress Iyabo Ojo

Actress Iyabo Ojo has reacted to backlashes over her involvement in the quest for justice for late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka MohBad.
In a post on her IG page, she shaded trolls by saying she couldn’t be bothered about them because nobody, not even God ,is loved 100%.
The mother of two said she will continue to pursue her goals, finding strength in the Lord and in the people who genuinely care about her.
“No one, not even God, is loved on a 100%
“So why worry about the haters? Abegi, do you, draw strength from the Lord & those who truly love you & stay winning…. shikena,” she wrote.
