 M23 says hundreds of Burundi soldiers captured in latest Congo offensive The Rwanda-backed M23 group has captured hundreds of Burundian soldiers during its latest offensive in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, a rebel official said, as clashes continued despite a warning from the Trump administration. Last week M23 entered the strategic town of Uvira near the border with Burundi, less than a week after the presidents of Congo and Rwanda met in Washington with U.S. President Donald Trump and affirmed their commitment to a peace deal known as the Washington Accords. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday that Rwanda's actions in eastern Congo violated the Washington Accords and vowed to "take action to ensure promises made to the President are kept".  Go And Pay Your Respect To Filmmaking Experts – RMD Sends Advice To Basketmouth

Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) has offered words of advice to comedian-turned-filmmaker, Basketmouth.


RMD advised him to seek guidance from experts in the movie industry as he launches his debut movie, “A Ghetto Love Story.”


Speaking via Instagram, the thespian congratulated Basketmouth on his bold move, emphasising that filmmaking requires more than raw talent.


He asserted that filmmaking does not require talent alone, but also learning from experts who have paved the way.


He recommended collaborating with established filmmakers, like Funke Akindele, Mo Abudu, AY Makun and Kunle Afolayan as industry heavyweights worth seeking out.


RMD said: “Congratulations on your new film ‘A Ghetto Love Story’. I say make I call you, hail you first and then give you advice. You know you are entering a place where people have already established. Hold ground.


“You fit press things for different places. This is not comedy. Do not do it anyhow. This na film.


“When you enter, go find people wey hold ground. People wey dey control the whole area. All of them like Funke Akindele, Mo Abudu, AY, Kunle Afolayan and other people wey dey do film well. Wey be oga. Call them.


“Tell them you want to know one or two things. Comedy with Buchi fit work, but that na after you don pay respect to people wey hold ground.”
