 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  Go And Pay Your Respect To Filmmaking Experts – RMD Sends Advice To Basketmouth

Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) has offered words of advice to comedian-turned-filmmaker, Basketmouth.


RMD advised him to seek guidance from experts in the movie industry as he launches his debut movie, “A Ghetto Love Story.”


Speaking via Instagram, the thespian congratulated Basketmouth on his bold move, emphasising that filmmaking requires more than raw talent.


He asserted that filmmaking does not require talent alone, but also learning from experts who have paved the way.


He recommended collaborating with established filmmakers, like Funke Akindele, Mo Abudu, AY Makun and Kunle Afolayan as industry heavyweights worth seeking out.


RMD said: “Congratulations on your new film ‘A Ghetto Love Story’. I say make I call you, hail you first and then give you advice. You know you are entering a place where people have already established. Hold ground.


“You fit press things for different places. This is not comedy. Do not do it anyhow. This na film.


“When you enter, go find people wey hold ground. People wey dey control the whole area. All of them like Funke Akindele, Mo Abudu, AY, Kunle Afolayan and other people wey dey do film well. Wey be oga. Call them.


“Tell them you want to know one or two things. Comedy with Buchi fit work, but that na after you don pay respect to people wey hold ground.”
