Afrobeats sensation Tems has added another Grammy Award to her collection, taking home the honor for Best African Music Performance at the 67th Recording Academy Awards.
Tems' winning track, "Love Me Jeje," emerged victorious in a category dominated by Afrobeats artists, with Chris Brown being the sole non-Afrobeats nominee. The singer faced stiff competition from fellow Nigerian artists Burna Boy, Asake, and Wizkid, who were nominated for their collaborative track "MMS." Yemi Alade and Chris Brown's "Sensational," featuring Davido and Lojay, was also among the nominees.
This marks Tems' second Grammy Award win, solidifying her position as a leading voice in the Afrobeats genre.
