Meta to end end-to-end encryption for Instagram direct messages Meta is ending end-to-end encryption for Instagram direct messages, a feature the company says will no longer be available after May 8, 2026.  Health Workers Applaud Gov. Uba Sani For Implementing Consolidated Salary Structure

The Kaduna State chapter of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has praised Governor Uba Sani for approving the implementation of the Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS) and the Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS) for health workers in the state.

The commendation was contained in a letter dated September 2, 2025, and jointly signed by the State Chairman, Comrade Ishaku Yakubu, and State Secretary, Comrade Christiana Bawa.

According to the association, the governor’s decision represents “an act of fairness and magnanimity,” which has renewed the confidence of nurses in his administration and aligned with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

NANNM further noted that Governor Sani’s action underscores his commitment to improving the welfare of health professionals and strengthening healthcare delivery in Kaduna State.

The council acknowledged that the decision came at a time when the state faces several competing financial demands but stressed that prioritizing the welfare of health workers has boosted morale, enhanced productivity, and positioned Kaduna as a model for labour-friendly governance.

The nurses and midwives pledged to remain loyal, dedicated, and professional in their service, promising to contribute meaningfully to the governor’s ongoing reforms in the state’s health sector.
