 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  TRAGEDY ON CAMPUS, AS FEMALE STUDENT DIES AFTER COLLAPSING DURING EXAMS AT BENUE UNIVERSITY.

A heartbreaking scene unfolded at the Rev. Father Moses Orshio Adasu University (formerly Benue State University) after a female student reportedly collapsed in the examination hall and could not be revived.


Witnesses say she slumped in the middle of her paper, sparking panic among students and staff. Despite efforts to save her, she sadly did not survive.


The incident has reignited concerns about the intense pressure students face during exams. Many are urging learners to prioritize their health eat well, rest, and avoid pushing beyond their limits.


A wave of grief now hangs over the campus as the university mourns a life cut short far too soon.
