  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. LASSA FEVER OUTBREAK IN RIVERS STATE,CLAIMED 2 LIVES.

                             Rivers state Government has just confirmed the outbreak of LASA Fever in the state,which has claimed the lives of two persons so far.The River state Commissioner for Health,Dr.Theophilous Odageme who confirmed the outbreak today in a statement enjoined the members of the public not to panic because the state government had taken a proactive measure to contain an outbreak.The statement urged members of the public to report any of such symptoms as persistenthigh fever,stooling,vomiting,bleeding from the nose,mouth and anus.He advised members of the public to maintain good hygiene and quickly report any case of Lassa Fever to the nearest Health Centre or Hospital urgent attention.One more photo below.                                                       ...

                    A document released by the central government and ruling Communist Party today tuesday in Beijing said families would be able to independently arrange child-bearing under the new policy,without applying for approval.The National Health and Family Planning Commission had said in October that couples would still need approval at first.The document released said the implementation of the policy would begin this year,without giving a date.A source said the two child policy was itself a relaxation of the one child policy that led to forced abortions and infanticides for decades.The source further said ''Beijing hopes to reduce the pressure of the ageing population.About 90 million families may qualify for the new two child policy''.              Idris Malikawa,Media Officer of the Club {Kanu Pillars Football Club} made this known in an interview with NAN on Tuesday in Kano.Malikawa said the 10 player were sacked based on medical ground and poor performance.''The management of the club felt the only way to make headway in the plan to have a goodseason in the NPFL is to weed out 10 aged and unproductive players.This is to make way for new boys that will strengthen the team''.He said the team had already resumed training ahead of this year's campaign,assuring that transfer formalities would be completed on time.He further said that the club would recruit new players to beef up the team in some critical areas''.One more photo below.                                                                         ...

2 MEN ROBBED 2 PROSTITUTES ON GUN POINT IN A HOTEL,ON SATURDAY IN GEORGIA.

                   It was reported today that two prostitutes were forced to run through a hotel as they tried to catch gunmen who robbed them while they stripped off.The two women were at the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel and Conference Center in Georgia on saturday,thinking they were paid a visit by a prospective client.The man entered the room and,after the group had discussed prices for around 10 minutes,a second suspect barged in with his weapon drawn.A officer said ''One suspect would point the gun at the victims while the other went through the victims property''.The two men took $3,000 from one woman and $640 from the other before leaving the room.The woman ran after the suspects while naked,but stopped when the men ran down the stairs.Another guest called 911 after seeing the nude women in the corridor.When police arrived,the women admitted they were escorts.Police say the pair were caught running the adjacent Lenox Square Mal...
