  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. TWO SISTERS KILLED BY ARMED ROBBERS IN ONITSHA TO BE BURIED TODAY.{PHOTO}.

     The death of two young sisters have left their family in lament after falling victims to men of the underworld. The girls identified as 11-year-old Vivian Ifeanyinwa Alor and 7-year-old Venus Oyinyechukwu Alor who were killed after being hit by the robbers' bullets in Onitsha in Anambra State last December. They were said to be traveling from Lagos to their village immediately after Christmas to celebrate the festive season with their grandma before their deaths. They are set to be buried tomorrow, Friday 23rd, their village in Agulu area of Anambra state. May their souls rest in peace.

FG SAVES N68BN ON PERSONNEL COST,CAPTURES 511 MDAs UNDER IPPIS-ADEOSUN.[PHOTO}.

      The Honourable Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, on Wednesday disclosed that the Federal Government had saved N68 billion on personnel cost in 2017. This brings the aggregate savings by the Government on personnel cost since 2007 to date to N288 billion. The Minister made this disclosure during her presentation of "Status Update on the Implementation of Federal Executive Council (FEC) Approved Projects" at the Council's meeting. The FEC meeting was presided over by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari. The savings, Adeosun explained, were funds that would have otherwise gone unaccounted for which, she added, were now free for the Government to fund capital projects. She said the savings were achieved despite increased in personnel, including the employment of 10,000 by the Nigerian Police.
