  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.       Governor Samuel Ortom this morning met students of the University of Jos who were evacuated by the state government from the school on account of the security situation. He sympathized with the institution and the Plateau State Government and prayed that the situation would improve. Governor Ortom stated that as a state which has experienced a similar situation he appreciated the pains and anguish. He expressed his condolence to those who lost loved ones and urged the Federal Government to rise up to its responsibility of protecting lives and property. According to him all the agencies for the enforcement of the laws and provision of security belong to the Federal Government. Three Nigerian Army officers and two soldiers were on Tuesday 2nd October 2018 sanctioned, by the General Court Martial (GCM) sitting in Maimalari Cantonment Maiduguri Borno State, to try erring personnel on various offences against them. 2. Speaking while delivering the judgement, the President of the Court Martial Brigadier General Olusegun Adesina stated that the offences were bordered on cowardice, negligenc e, abduction and discipline. 3. One of the accused, Captain Alhamdu Kwasau was found guilty of offences of cowardly behaviour and negligence while carrying out his military duty. He was reduced to the rank of a Lieutenant with two years lost of seniority on the rank. 4.
