  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.        Hon. Adiele Ekeke, a Commissioner in Abia State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (ASOPADEC) has buried his two children who died alongside his wife in an accident which occurred along Enugu-Okigwe express road. The lady and her two children were reported to have been traveling along the Enugu – Port Harcourt Road on Sunday August 11, when their vehicle got involved in a ghastly accident that claimed their lives. Luckily, the third child survived the accident but is currently in intensive care where doctors are battling to save her life. Confirming the death of his wife and two kids, Hon. Ekeke said; "Its too hard to believe, but it did happened. We're on our way to Ohanku to bury my 2 children, my only son and first daughter. Their mother is still in mortuary".More photos below.

         DJ Arafat, a singer from Ivory Coast  with a huge following in francophone Africa  has died after a road accident in Abidjan, the state broadcaster RTI has said. "Death of artist DJ Arafat ... today at 8am as a result of a road accident overnight," the broadcaster tweeted on Monday. According to messages and pictures circulating on Social media he had been driving a motorbike and smashed into a car. Critically injured, the singer, 33, was taken to an Abidjan hospital, where he later died."We are all in shock," Ickx Fontaine, an Ivorian producer and specialist in hip-hop told the AFP news agency. "He was a real singer and a drummer ... he gave a new breath of life to coupe-decale."      Less than 24 hours after Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike placed a N30million bounty on notorious cultist, Bobrisky of Gokana, the Nigerian Army has captured him, with Governor Wike confirming that he will redeem the pledge. Speaking during a security meeting with leaders of Rumuolumeni Community at the Government House Port Harcourt on Friday, Governor Wike thanked the Nigerian A rmy for capturing the suspected cultist. "The Army has captured Bobrisky of Gokana. I will pay the bounty that I promised to the Nigerian Army. "Anyone who generates insecurity in Rivers State, I am ready to pay any amount to ensure the arrest of that person".       An Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) was killed by an angry mob, for shooting a pregnant woman dead at Agbole area of Ijegun in Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) on Friday August 9. The pregnant tailor identified as Biliki was hit by a stray bullet in her shop after the policeman identified as Damilare Olarenwaju, recklessly opened fire while chasing a boy labeled a “yahoo boy” in the street. Biliki was reportedly rushed to the hospital but died shortly after.       The Obituary of Reverend Father Paul Offu who was murdered by suspected herdsmen along the Ihe-Agbudu Road in Awgu on Thursday, August 1st, has been released. According to the lineup of activities, the remains of the 49-year-old clergyman who was shot dead while on his way for mass, will be laid to rest at the Holy Ghost Cathedral, Ogui in Enugu state on Tuesday August 20th.
