 Peter Obi lies like fish drinking water –Festus Keyamo Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has accused the 2027 Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of deliberately fabricating claims regarding a recent airport incident. Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ on Thursday night, July 30, Keyamo alleged that Obi lied about his experience at the airport to score political points. “That man was lying. He lies like a fish drinking water. He lies. He lies for fun,” Keyamo stated. The Minister noted that Obi had publicly complained of facing harassment from airport officials strictly due to his opposition status.   The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has described the recent attack on The Nation Newspaper and Television Continental (TVC), during the EndSARS protest in Lagos, as an attack on free speech and democracy. The Minister made the assertion in Lagos on Saturday when he visited the two media organizations in Lagos to commiserate with their management and staff over the attack.   A document has been distributed to students of Federal Polytechnic Oko to make them aware of the dress code in the institution. The document reads, War Against Indecent Dressing (WAID) in Federal Polytechnic Oko then goes on to list what is not acceptable in the tertiary institution as regards fashion. For the women, the code bans things like skirt with slit above knees, off-shoulder dresses and tops, sleeveless dresses and tops, rugged jeans and low waist trousers, lengthy and coloured braids, coloured hair, long artificial lashes, bandana hairband, bogus fashion jewelries and more. For the male students, they banned long and bushy hair/beard, braids, dread lock and coloured hair, rugged jeans, kaftan without trousers, inscription on hair cut, T-shirts and jeans with immoral messages and more.

GUNMEN INVADE PRIVATE HOSPITAL, ABDUCT 5 PEOPLE IN LAFIA, NASARAWA STATE.{PHOTOS}.

  Seven gunmen invaded a private clinic and abducted five people in Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital, yesterday 31st October 2020. The gunmen invaded Kunwarke Clinic and Maternity in Kan-Tsakuuwa, near Federal University Lafia, and took away one staff and four relations of some patients, but one victim later escaped. The Director of the hospital, a former deputy speaker of the Nasarawa state House of Assembly, Elisha Agwadu said the kidnappers came thirty minutes after he left the hospital at about 8pm on Saturday night. A witness said the gunmen were well armed, shot in the air sporadically and commanded everyone to lay facedown as they made away with their victims. “The kidnappers contacted me this morning at about 6.30 and told me that this was the 26th time they have come after me without getting me,” said Agwadu. “‘All we are demanding from you now if you don’t want your staff and others to be killed is N20m’” he claimed. “They put a call through to me again at about 12.20pm ...

  *Arrested two suspects and recover offensive weapons and other incriminating items* On the 31/10/2020 at about 8:32am,there was a distress call that suspected robbers armed with dangerous weapons were operating at Abagana end of Nimo junction in Njikoka LGA of Anambra State. Following the distress call, Police operatives attached to Abagana division in conjunction with local vigilante group from umudunu village quickly responded and rushed to the scene.As a result,two suspects were arrested as follows, (i).Ocha Chinonso ' m', Aged 23 years of Mgbuke Village, Umunachi and, (Ii) Chidubem Emmanuel 'm' Aged 22years of Umusiome Nkpor.
