 Peter Obi lies like fish drinking water –Festus Keyamo Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has accused the 2027 Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of deliberately fabricating claims regarding a recent airport incident. Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ on Thursday night, July 30, Keyamo alleged that Obi lied about his experience at the airport to score political points. “That man was lying. He lies like a fish drinking water. He lies. He lies for fun,” Keyamo stated. Why we don't have Tinubu's portraits in our offices - Abia gov. The Abia State Government has explained the absence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s portraits in some of its offices. The governor, Dr Alex Otti, dismissed claims that the absence was due to his administration’s none recognition of Tinubu as Nigeria’s President. Otti was reacting to some online reports over the absence of the president’s portraits in some offices within the Government House. Speaking on behalf of the governor, his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma, said the state government had the president’s portraits in some offices but not in all, adding that the same applies to the governor as well. “We don’t have the governor’s portraits in most offices because this is a new government. Elon Musk: Unverified Users Limited to Reading 600 Tweets Daily The billionaire founder of Tesla Inc., Elon Musk, has said a temporary limit has been made to the number of posts users can read daily on Twitter. The move seeks to tackle issues around “data and systems manipulation”, Musk, the chief technology officer (CTO) and chairman of the firm, said in a tweet yesterday. He said verified users will have access to 6,000 posts daily, while unverified and new users will be allowed to read 600 and 300 posts, respectively. AfDB has approved my $115m loan request for Abia – Ikpeazu claims Former Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, has said African Development Bank, AfDB, has given final approval for a $115 million loan for road construction, erosion control and solid waste management in the State. The former governor, who spoke through Onyebuchi Ememanka, his Chief Press Secretary, on Saturday, said the loans were initiated and achieved by his government for use by the successive administration. The fund, according to him, is to be used for the construction of 190.43km of road in Aba and 58.03 km of road in Umuahia, the State capital. Erosion control projects and solid waste management are also to be executed with the funds captured in the loan. He expressed gratitude to God that the loan has, according to him, scaled the final approval hurdle, adding that the total funding cost of the projects is $263.80 million, while the Abia State Government would provide $23.80 million counterpart funds to be use...
