 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. •Governor Oshiomhole: survives auto accident              The accident occured today at about 9.45.am at Eku village,along the ever busy Benin Auchi highway.Governor Oshiomhole was on his way back to Benin city from his Iyamho village where he spent the christmas holiday.A peugeot j5 bus filled with tomatoes and plantain rammed into the Governor's flagcar from the opposite direction before swerving into a road side ditch.The Governor's car was badly affected but no injuries were sustained by both occupants of the peugeot J5 and that of the Governors.The peugeot J5 bus was following a truck that was,descending the Ewu slope when it suddenly veered off into the Governors lane from the opposite direction and directly on the Governor's vehicle,because of brake failure.
