TERRORISTS, BANDITRY ACTIVITIES IN NORTHWEST HAVE REDUCED- SHEHU SANI. (PHOTO).

 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. NO RIFT BETWEEN DIEZIANI ALISON AND ANDREW YAKUBU-NNPC.

              According to a national news paper,the Nigerian Petroleum Corporation {NNPC} has said that their is no rift between the Minister of Petroleum Resources,Mrs Dieziani Alison Madueke,and the Group Managing Director of  NNPC, Mr Andrew Yakubu.The clarification was contained in a statement issued on Sunday by the Group General Manager,Public Affairs Division of NNPC,Mr Ohi Alegbe.The statement said the Minister and GMD were in harmonious working relationship and dismissed insinuations of a frosty relationship between the two.It alsi denied that the minister was doing everything to thwart the proposed investigation into the alleged N10billion purportedly spent on the charter of jets by the corporation.The statement said further that the minister and corporation were putting together all the documents that the National Assembly requested for in the matter and added that at the end of the probe minister and corporation would be vindicated.It also said that all agencies in the ministry were working in concert with other key downstream operators to ensure the realization of the zero fuel ques aspiration of the minister.
