DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. According to a national news paper,the Nigerian Petroleum Corporation {NNPC} has said that their is no rift between the Minister of Petroleum Resources,Mrs Dieziani Alison Madueke,and the Group Managing Director of NNPC, Mr Andrew Yakubu.The clarification was contained in a statement issued on Sunday by the Group General Manager,Public Affairs Division of NNPC,Mr Ohi Alegbe.The statement said the Minister and GMD were in harmonious working relationship and dismissed insinuations of a frosty relationship between the two.It alsi denied that the minister was doing everything to thwart the proposed investigation into the alleged N10billion purportedly spent on the charter of jets by the corporation.The statement said further that the minister and corporation were putting together all the documents that the National Assembly requested for in the matter and added that at the end of the probe minister and corporation would be vindicated.It also said that all agencies in the ministry were working in concert with other key downstream operators to ensure the realization of the zero fuel ques aspiration of the minister.
