Lagos police launch investigation as jeweller  accuses its officers of harassment The Lagos State Police Command said it has commenced an investigation into a viral video of a jeweller accusing some policemen in the Festac area of the state of harassing him.  The command disclosed this in an X post on Saturday. The video, which circulated on X on Saturday morning, shows the businessman engaged in a struggle with some policemen. Later in the video, the businessman could be seen with a bloody face after allegedly sustaining a cut beside his right eye during the struggle with the police officers,  The jeweller later explained that the policemen from the Festac Division had stopped him for a routine search. GOVERNOR FASHOLA APPEALS TO HEALTH WORKERS,NOT TO GO ON STRIKE AGAIN.

                             Governor Raji Fashola,made these appeal at Sheraton Hotel Ikeja,Lagos,at the 2015 State Council on Health,that ''I ask this not for myself,i as it for the public that you serve.I have said it repeatedly and i will say it again,you are like God on earth and God does not go on strike.And i believe that when all is said and done,we cannot live a life without government  and differences''.Gover Fashola said that when he was a young Lawyer,he and some of  his colleagues planned to go on strike,late Chief FRA Williams heard about it and summoned us and warned that that he would be the first to petition against them as Lawyers do not  go on strike.''Now i don't know how physicians see themselves,but i know how i see them.When you lie down and you are ill,that is the time the full weight of a physician dawns on you.I told some people the other day that the physicians and the nurses are the only people who can tell you not to go out today and you won't argue.It is an awesome power''.
