 ACTDA Demolishes Illegal Structures, Reopens Blocked Access Road in Umuike, Awka ‎ ‎ ‎By Sylvia Tochukwu-Ngige ‎ ‎ ‎The Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, ACTDA, on July 28, carried out an enforcement operation at Umuike, Awka. The team lead by Commander of Enforcrment, Jude Nworah reopened a blocked access road that had been obstructed by illegal structures erected by land grabbers and unauthorized developers. ‎ ‎During the operation, the enforcement team demolished the illegal obstructions that had prevented residents and motorists from using the road. The action was taken after several warnings and notices to the developers to remove the structures were ignored. ‎ ‎The reopening of the road has restored public access and eased movement for residents in the area.
