 STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE   ENGINEERS FAROUK AHMED, GBENGA KOMOLAFE RESIGN, PRESIDENT TINUBU NOMINATES SUCCESSORS TO THE SENATE FOR APPROVAL President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has asked the Senate to approve the nominations of two new chief executives for the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) and the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).   The requests followed the resignation of Engineer Farouk Ahmed of the NMDPRA and Gbenga Komolafe of the NUPRC. Both officials were appointed in 2021 by former President Buhari to lead the two regulatory agencies created by the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA).   To fill these positions, President Tinubu has written to the Senate, requesting expedited confirmation of Oritsemeyiwa Amanorisewo Eyesan as CEO of NUPRC and Engineer Saidu Aliyu Mohammed as CEO of NMDPRA.   The two nominees are seasoned professionals in the oil and gas industry.   Eyesan, a graduate of Economics f...

9 DEAD AS AL-SHABAAB MILITANTS,DETONATED A BOMB IN THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION IN SOMALIA.

                             According to sources,at least 9 people have been confirmed dead today in an attack in Somalia's capital of Mogadishu.The attackers stormed the Ministry of Higher Education after one of the attackers detonated a vehicle at the gate of the ministry compound,opening the way for gunmen to enter.A tweet from the Editor of Somalia Newsroom says ''Once again Al-shabaab utilizes its suicide car bombs siege tactic in Mogadishu Education Ministry attack in Somalia.Police have also secured the building according to Capt Mohamed Hussen,a senior police officer.The attack is believed to have been carried out by Al-shabaab.African union forces were recently deployed to the building.The militant group Al-shabaab has admitted responsibility for the attack''.One more picture below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
