 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. 9 DEAD AS AL-SHABAAB MILITANTS,DETONATED A BOMB IN THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION IN SOMALIA.

                             According to sources,at least 9 people have been confirmed dead today in an attack in Somalia's capital of Mogadishu.The attackers stormed the Ministry of Higher Education after one of the attackers detonated a vehicle at the gate of the ministry compound,opening the way for gunmen to enter.A tweet from the Editor of Somalia Newsroom says ''Once again Al-shabaab utilizes its suicide car bombs siege tactic in Mogadishu Education Ministry attack in Somalia.Police have also secured the building according to Capt Mohamed Hussen,a senior police officer.The attack is believed to have been carried out by Al-shabaab.African union forces were recently deployed to the building.The militant group Al-shabaab has admitted responsibility for the attack''.One more picture below.
