 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. 2 DEAD TODAY,IN BURUNDI PROTEST AGAINST THEIR PRESIDENT'S THIRD TERM BID.

                  According to sources,today monday morning,two people have been killed in new protests in Burundi against their president's re-election bid.The protests started peacefully but got out of hand when protesters started attacking police with stones.The protesters are protesting over President Pierre Nkurunziza's bid for a third term.The protests resumed in Burundi's capital today monday after a weekend pause as thousands continued to protest the president's decision to seek a third term.It is the biggest unrest Burundi has seen since a civil war ended in 2005.The protesters want to force president Pierre Nkurunzinza to withdraw his bid for a third term,which may be seen as a violation of the Arusha Agreement that ended a civil war which left more than 250,000 people dead.One more photo below.
