 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State. EGYPTIAN FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION,CANCELLED THE PROPOSED JANUARY 2017 FRIENDLY MATCH WITH NIGERIA.

Image result for egypt vs nigeria football players                 According to sources,following an alleged disagreement with the Nigerian authorities on match expenses,the Egyptian Football Association has cancelled the proposed January 2017 friendly duel with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.The friendly game was scheduled to be played on January 9,2017 in Dubai as Egypt want to use the duel as preparation for the 2017 African Cup of Nations in Gabon.It was stated that the Egyotians FA said they would not be able to bear all the expenses for the friendly encounter with Nigeria,and they have gone ahead to fix another friendly encounter with Tunisia at the same time they are supposed to face Nigeria.Sources claimed that the Nigeria Football Federation {NFF} have demanded that the Egyptian FA should bear all their expenses for the friendly match.Mohammed Sanusi who is the Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Federation {NFF} explained that the NFF has not received any communication on the match from the Egyptians FA.''Well,I haven't been told anything and I don't think any of us has received any information from the Egyptian Football Federation,'' Sanusi explained.Nigeria will not be participating in the 2017 African Cup of Nations billed to take place in Gabon.
