 BENUE BOOSTS CHILD PROTECTION WITH GRADUATION OF 60 UNICEF-BACKED SOCIAL WORKERS  Benue State has taken a major step toward strengthening child protection and social welfare services with the graduation of 60 Auxiliary Social Workers (ASWs) trained to serve vulnerable children and families at the grassroots. The graduation ceremony, held on Wednesday, marked the successful completion of a programme jointly supported by the Benue State Government, the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), the Bureau of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and the Benue State Bureau for International Cooperation and Development (BICD). Question: How will you spend your Christmas this year?
Reply: I will be in church for Christmas service.I will pray for the country,my friends,family and relatives.
Question: How does the recession affect your Christmas plans and shopping?:
Reply: This recession affected the Prices of food stuffs.I couldn't afford to buy new clothes for my son.I had to promise him that next year Christmas,I must buy new clothes and shoes for him.Well it will be a normal sunday tomorrow Christmas day.
Question: Do you have anybody in particular you want to wissh a Merry Christmas?
Reply: Yesss..
