 Kaduna Targets ₦120bn IGR In 2026 — KADIRS Chairman   Kaduna State has set an Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) target of ₦120 billion for the 2026 fiscal year, with the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) expected to play a central role in achieving the target. The Executive Chairman of KADIRS, Jerry Adams, FCTI, FNIM, FCE, CNA, disclosed this during the Service’s Annual Performance Review, Work Plan, and Strategic Retreat.  He explained that although the state government approved ₦74 billion as KADIRS’ official revenue target, the Service raised its internal benchmark to ₦80.09 billion to motivate staff to exceed expectations. He further stated that the proposed 2026 budget by the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission stands at ₦117.28 billion, with KADIRS expected to generate ₦74.28 billion, while Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are projected to generate ₦43.24 billion. QUEEN ELIZABETH OFFICIALLY OPENED A NEW HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FOR ARMED FORCES VETERANS TODAY.{PHOTOS}.

     Today Her Majesty The Queen visited Haig Housing Trust in Morden to officially open their new housing development.
Haig Housing is the country’s largest military housing charity, with over 1,500 properties across the UK, providing affordable and accessible accommodation to armed forces veterans -some who have been severely wounded - and their families.
The Queen has been Patron of Haig Housing since 1952, and 70 years ago, in 1949, opened one of the charity's estates in Jersey.
During this morning's engagement Her Majesty visited two of the new 70 homes on the development, which have been specially designed to meet resident's needs.
Michael Bowman and his family welcomed The Queen into their home. Michael served in the Grenadier Guards for 14 years.
The Queen also met Royal Air Force veteran Ken Souter, who served with 73 squadron from 1940 and flew Hurricanes in North Africa. Her Majesty recently sent Ken a birthday card to celebrate his 100th birthday 🎂
After meeting more residents and schoolchildren from the London Borough of Merton, along the Queen Elizabeth Terrace - a block named in her honour, The Queen unveiled a plaque to declare the development officially open.More photos below.
