  Atiku Fires Back at Obasanjo, Says He Stood by Ex-President in Prison and After Release Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has responded to former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s recent criticism, insisting he stood by the former military ruler during his incarceration and after his release from prison, and declaring that history cannot be rewritten. Obasanjo had on Friday described his decision to pick Atiku as his running mate in the 1999 presidential election as the biggest mistake of his presidency. He made the remark in Lagos during a fireside conversation with entertainer and activist Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, at the public presentation of Charly Boy’s foundation and memoir, *999: A Memoir in Tribute to Late Justice Chukwudifu Oputa*. FOUR SUSPECTED INTERNET FRAUDSTER ARRESTED IN MAKURDI.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

The Makurdi Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Saturday May 1, 2021 arrested four members of a syndicate of internet fraudsters in Makurdi, Benue State.

The suspects, Gideon Damisa, Sunday James, Friday Ebosele and Okiemute Deborah, were rounded up by operatives of the Commission following intelligence report on their alleged criminal activities in and around Makurdi metropolis.

At the point of arrest, the principal suspect Gideon Damisa was in possession of a Mercedes Benz GLK 350 2010 Model, 1 iPhone, 2 Pro Max, 2 Infinix phone and ATM cards, among others..

They will soon be charged to court.
