 Prince William and Kate Middleton bring George, Charlotte and Louis to Commonwealth Games for first Scotland public outing Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their three children to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, marking the siblings’ first official public appearance in Scotland. The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, attended the sporting event on Saturday, Aug. 1, during their summer break with Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8. While in Scotland, where William and Kate are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, the family spent time with Team Wales athletes and their families. The couple also visited SportsAid, an organisation that supports young athletes. Kate has served as patron of the organisation since 2013. Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe has granted an automatic scholarship to a young secondary school graduate, Musa Salisu to pursue a degree programme in his dream field of study, architecture.
Musa Salisu graduated from GSTC Damagum and hails from Gaidam Local Government area.
The young school leaver met H.E Governor Buni in Damaturu today to showcase and demonstrate a prototype Government House complex that he personally designed using cardboard paper.
The governor, who was impressed with Musa Salisu's creativity and passion for architecture, asked the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Baba Mallam Wali to direct the State Scholarships Board to do whatever it takes to secure admission for the school leaver to study his dream subject.
