 Prince William and Kate Middleton bring George, Charlotte and Louis to Commonwealth Games for first Scotland public outing Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their three children to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, marking the siblings’ first official public appearance in Scotland. The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, attended the sporting event on Saturday, Aug. 1, during their summer break with Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8. While in Scotland, where William and Kate are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, the family spent time with Team Wales athletes and their families. The couple also visited SportsAid, an organisation that supports young athletes. Kate has served as patron of the organisation since 2013. The Commonwealth Games, held every four years, brings together athletes from across the Commonwealth of Nations. REMI TINUBU ASSUMES OFFICE AS FIRST LADY


The wife of President Bola Tinubu, Mrs Oluremi has assumed office as Nigeria’s First Lady on Monday.

Mrs Tinubu who arrived at the First Lady’s wing accompanied by her security aides, was received by the Permanent Secretary of the State House, Mr Tijjani Umar, and other Heads of Units in the Office.

She was thereafter guided on a tour of offices within the First Lady’s wing, comprising the Administrative, ICT, Catering, Media and Protocol Units.

Oluremi Tinubu holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Ife and has undertaken several courses in some higher institutions.
