 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. SUSWAM CALLS ON BENUE PEOPLE TO GO INTO FARMING

Suswam stated this when he visited Andzenge Farms Limited, at Mbakuhwa Usongo Local Government Area alongside the State Deputy Governor, Barr. Sam Odeh, the former Secretary to the Benue State Government, Prof. Anthony Ijohor.

Bede Bartholomew, Media Aide to Senator Suswam in a statement to newsmen said, the visitors were taken round the farm by the owner, Dr Steve Andzenge and his wife, Dr. Mrs. Steve Andzenge where they were shown some special breed cows, pigs, and orange trees.

Dr. Andzenge further explained that “the farm is fully commercialized and could produce enough animal protein and milk to serve at least five local governments.”

In his speech, Suswam a farmer himself said, “I am amaze at the share size of the farm, with its well-kept stables, pens, cages, the healthy looking animals, and serene environment.”

This is as he promised to send his farm manager to go and take a look at the farm. The former governor also called on Benue people to venture into massive animals farming.

Barr. Sam Odeh remarked that the state government will take a special interest in the farm by sending students and teachers of agriculture from its institutions to come for training while providing support and grant to farmers across the state.

Other dignitaries who accompanied the Senator include Prof. Nicholas Ada, Members of the BSHA, Hon. Sam Shima Prince Jiji, and Hon. Bob Tyough among others.
