 M23 says hundreds of Burundi soldiers captured in latest Congo offensive The Rwanda-backed M23 group has captured hundreds of Burundian soldiers during its latest offensive in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, a rebel official said, as clashes continued despite a warning from the Trump administration. Last week M23 entered the strategic town of Uvira near the border with Burundi, less than a week after the presidents of Congo and Rwanda met in Washington with U.S. President Donald Trump and affirmed their commitment to a peace deal known as the Washington Accords. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday that Rwanda's actions in eastern Congo violated the Washington Accords and vowed to "take action to ensure promises made to the President are kept". Rwanda denies supporting M23 and has blamed Congolese and Burundian forces for the renewed fighting. ‘Day I told my husband I don’t want to outshine him’ – Toyosi

Media personality and movie producer, Toyosi Etim-Effiong, has recounted her husband’s reaction when she opened up to him, saying that she doesn’t want to “outshine” him.
She said that being aware of her massive potential, she was bothered that she could outshine her actor husband but he encouraged her when she finally summoned the courage to open up to him about her worries.
She said her husband’s response “felt like an impartation,” stressing that he urged her to feel free to do exploits.
Mrs Etim-Effiong disclosed this in a lengthy Instagram post celebrating their wedding anniversary.
The content producer said “the burden was lifted” after her husband’s permission.
“I felt emboldened and encouraged. I had the full support of the most important person in my life and it was liberating! I began to make preparations to take flight. A little while later, I did. I took flight and I’m still ascending,” she wrote.
DAILY POST recalls that the couple got married on November 4, 2017. They welcomed their first child, a baby girl, in January 2019.
