  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. Dry Season: Anambra Firefighters Ready to Combat Fire Outbreak

Ahead of the forthcoming dry season and in getting ready to combat fire disasters that come with it, the Anambra State Government through the Ministry of Power and Water Resources, has procured complete personal protective equipment (PPE) for firefighters in the state.

The state Firee Chief, Engr Martins Agbili, made this known today during the issuance of fire safety wears to firefighters. 

Engr Agbili said that the complete PPE ranging from fire suit, coverall, crash helmet, fire safety boot and hand gloves have been issued to all the firefighters in readiness for the battle ahead in dry season.

Agbili who used the opportunity to appreciate the Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo for all he has been doing for the fire service, also thanked the Commissioner for Power and Water Resources, Engr Julius Chukwuemeka, who he said has done so much for the service.

He also said that all the state fire trucks are undergoing routine servicing in readiness for the dry season.
