  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. Jigawa State Inaugurates 19-Member Hisbah Review Committee 

Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa state has inaugurated a 19-member Hisbah Review Committee, with Alhaji Bala Ibrahim, the Secretary to the state Government as chairman.

The main tasks of the committee includes assessing the number and effectiveness of Hisbah guards in the state, their roles and activities, and examining logistics.

The committee will also evaluate the impact of Hisbah on upholding Islamic moral and ethical standards and review related legal documents.

The committee is expected to submit a comprehensive report with findings, recommendations, and proposed legal changes to improve the State Hisbah within four weeks.

Speaking during the inauguration, Alhaji Bala Ibrahim expressed appreciation for the Governor's commitment to moral values based on Islamic teachings. 

The SSG emphasized the importance of Hisbah in addressing societal challenges like drug abuse, rape and abandoned babies. 

Radio Nigeria reports that, the committee members include government officials, legal practitioners, and representatives from various sectors.
