  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. NLC TUC Block Entrance To Abuja Airport

Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) members on Thursday staged a protest at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Abuja.

The organised labour gathered at the airport this morning to enforce directive to members working in the aviation sector to stop all flights to Owerri, the Imo state capital.

The protest is part of a series of actions that the two labour centres say they will zero in on Imo state, following the attack on the NLC President, Comrade Joe Ajaero.

On Tuesday, the NLC and TUC had declared a nationwide strike which will commence on Tuesday, November 14th, due to the face-off with the Imo State Government.

The protesters attempted to go into the airport, but were stopped by the military at the checkpoint.

The protesters blocked the entry and exit point of the airport, causing heavy traffic of vehicles on both sides thereby forcing travelers to make their way into the airport on foot.
