 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly.  238 students face expulsion at IMSU over fake admission letters


A total of 238 Imo State University, IMSU, students have been recommended for expulsion from the institution due to their display of forged admission letters.


The university said on Wednesday in a press release signed by Ralph Njoku, its Public Relations Officer, PRO, that the impacted students had fraudulently hacked into the IMSU and Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, websites with the help of their parents and guardians.


Some of the candidates had then printed phony admission letters and were pretending to be Imo State University, Owerri, students.


“The said candidates who are flaunting fake admission letters are not our students,” the notification states.


“It is important for parents to understand that these con artists’ actions have seriously threatened the futures of their children and wards.


“We know our students who are legally admitted into the university but names of those who are fraudulently parading fake admission letters have been published in some local tabloids for the public to take note of.


“The institution is still investigating how the two hundred and thirty-eight students were illegally admitted into Imo State University.”
