 Again, Gov Diri Tasks Traditional Rulers To Maintain Peace, Security At King Awala's Coronation  Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has again urged traditional rulers to remain focused on the maintenance of peace, security and stability in their various domains as part of their contribution towards the development of the state. Governor Diri made the call at the weekend during the coronation ceremony ofHis Royal Majesty King Victor Awala, Ebeni-Ibe the Eighth (VIII) of Atissa Kingdom in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, at the Bishop Dimieari Grammar School, Yenagoa, the state capital. Represented by his deputy, Dr Peter Akpe, the Bayelsa Chief Executive acknowledged the critical role traditional rulers play in society as the custodians of culture and tradition, stressing that his administration will continue to hold them in high esteem. CALIFORNIA MOM CRASHES CAR INTO HOME IN DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO RESCUE HER CHILDREN FROM RAGING HOUSE FIRE. (PHOTOS).


 California mom crashes car into home in desperate attempt to rescue her children from raging house fire.


Fresno County FD responded to a home in Kingsburg to the call of a house fire. When they arrived on scene  the home was fully engulfed and the homeowner was ramming her vehicle into the side of the house. She was doing this in an attempt to create a hole to rescue her 2 small children. 


She was trying to save her 8-year-old boy and her 6-year-old girl both of whom family have confirmed were special needs.


According to reports, the fire began abruptly, separating the mother from her children. Mom suffered non life threatening burns to her hands and face attempting to reach the children.


She then ran outside and began ramming her car into the home before the fire department arrived.


Sadly, the 2 children were not able to be saved and they were recovered from the home deceased after the fire was extinguished. 


According to officials, fire crews had to deal with multiple propane and fuel tanks nearby as well as a live power line on the ground.


Our hearts go out to this mother and the unbelievable pain she and her family must be feeling.
