 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Nigerian swim coach leaves many impressed as he swims the entire length of Third Mainland Bridge


Nigerian man, Dare Akinrodoye, achieves a daring feat as he swims the entire length of Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos.


The swimmer who is popularly referred to as Coach Dreh took up the task to raise awareness for suicide and depression.


He admitted he was once depressed and would have committed suicide if he did not pick up an interest in swimming.


According to him, his choice location for the event was because most individuals who committed suicide publicly in Lagos usually jumped off the Third Mainland Bridge.


The event took place in Lagos, today the 30th of March and had many attendees as well as his medical team present to support him.


The Lagos state commissioner for youth and sports, Mobolaji Ogunlende was also in attendance to represent the state government and show their solidarity.


He swam the entire length of the bridge, which was a total of 11.8 kilometers, without stopping, completing the swim in 2 hours and 33 minutes.
