 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  TROOPS THWART SMUGGLING OF ILLICIT DRUGS, PREMIUM MOTOR SPIRIT



Nigerian Army (NA) Troops in conjunction with a team from the Nigerian Customs Service operating in the 81 Division NA Area of Responsibility demonstrated exceptional vigilance on Saturday, 2nd March 2024, by intercepting two boats carrying items suspected to be drugs. Acting on actionable intelligence, the troops conducted a stealth operation at Ajido in Badagry, Lagos state and successfully uncovered 27 sacks containing the suspected drugs. Regrettably, the suspects managed to evade arrest by jumping into the river upon sighting the troops.


In a separate operation, the troops intercepted smugglers carrying 77 sacks of Petroleum Motor Spirit at Fabre area in Badagry. The 77 sacks of Petroleum Motor Spirit have been handed over to the Nigerian Customs Service, Seme, while the sacks containing suspected drugs have been handed over to the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Seme Command.


The General Officer Commanding 81 Division Maj Gen MT Usman on behalf of the Chief of Army Staff has commended the troops for their professionalism. He further appealed to all law-abiding citizens in Lagos and Ogun States to continue to support the troops and other security agencies with credible information to combat any criminal activities that may threaten the peace enjoyed in Lagos and Ogun States.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
