 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. OHIO MAN ARRESTED AFTER TYING UP A PUPPY IN A DRAWSTRING BAG AND ABANDONING IT AT A PARK. (PHOTO).

 Ohio man arrested after tying up a puppy in a drawstring bag and abandoning it at a park.


Harold Lilly, of Middletown, Ohio, is being charged with cruelty to a Companion Animal and animal abandonment. His arrest comes after a puppy, now named Ryder, was found tied up in a bag and abandoned at 700 Joe Nuxhall Boulevard on April 24th.


Animal control officers were called and retrieved the puppy who they reported as being lethargic and weak. After a battery of tests showed no pre-existing illness he was vaccinated. He has since made a full recovery and is a healthy and happy puppy. 


The police department shared Ryder's story online and tips began pouring in leading to the arrest of Harold Lilly. 


Lilly has been charged and is awaiting his appearance in Hamilton Municipal Court.
