  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Kaduna PDP Dismisses Election Boycott Claims, Urges Members To Vote


The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Kaduna State has strongly refuted rumours asking party faithful to boycott today’s council elections in the 23 local government areas of the state.


The state chairman of the party, Edward Masha, said this in an interview with newsmen in Kafanchan, the headquarters of Jema’a Local Government Area, noting that the call for a boycott was neither made nor endorsed by his office.


He said, “while PDP agents at the SIECOM office in Kaduna were inspecting sensitive materials before distribution, it was noticed that one of the most sensitive materials, the result sheets, was not included, which was an anomaly.”


He further disclosed that two weeks ago, he had raised the alarm over plans by the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, to manipulate the elections by sneaking in a clause into the SIECOM election guidelines that would alter the process of announcing election results.


Masha insisted that the PDP would insist until all sensitive materials are included to ensure a level playing ground.


The PDP state chairman said the display of electoral fraud by the ruling party indicated that democracy is under attack in the state.


Masha then called on all members of the PDP to come out en masse to exercise their franchise and avoid any acts that could breach the peace in all the local government areas in the state.
