Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State. The Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway is a multi-state infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity and economic activities across northern and southern Nigeria. More...

WOMAN'S BODY CUT OUT OF SHARK THAT ATE HER WHILE SHE WAS ON HOLIDAY. (PHOTOS).

Woman's body cut out of shark that ate her while she was on holiday

A TOURIST was eaten by a shark after she was swept away by strong currents during a dream diving holiday in Indonesia.

The body of the 68-year-old American Colleen Monfore from South Dakota, was found inside the stomach of a shark by horrified fishermen.

The woman was on a diving boat trip with six friends around the Pulau Reong island when tragedy struck on September 26.

She was dragged away by the strong currents with her desperate group, and the guide was unable to pull her back to the boat.

Rescue teams searched for eight days before finally giving up on October 3 due to the dangerous conditions at sea and the low chance of finding the tourist.

Tragically, a fisherman in the neighbouring country of East Timor found human remains in the belly of a shark on Sunday.

Officials in the Liquisa District said the female corpse was still wearing a black wet suit and appeared to be that of a Western woman.

The fisherman said: "The shark was caught but it was not in normal health. I thought it had swallowed plastic or a fishing net.

"It was cut open to find the problem and inside there were the remains of a woman."

Officials in East Timor are contacting the coast guard in Indonesia.
