  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. BRAZILIAN WOMAN ARRESTED FOR SMUGGLING COCAINE WORTH R1. 9 M. (PHOTO).

 A 44-year-old Brazilian woman was apprehended at OR Tambo International Airport on Thursday, 28 November 2024, after arriving from Sao Paulo. SAPS intelligence intercepted the suspect and discovered cocaine wrapped around her upper body.


The woman is facing charges of drug trafficking and is expected to appear before the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court soon. This incident marks the second arrest of a drug trafficker with cocaine concealed on their person this week. On Sunday, a Brazilian man was arrested with R1.8 million worth of cocaine.


The OR Tambo International Airport police are sending a strong message that South Africa will not tolerate drug trafficking, and they will continue to crack down on those attempting to smuggle illicit substances into the country.
