  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. S. A: POLICE HAILED FOR REFUSING R15, 000 BRIBE. (PHOTOS)

 A police officer in South Africa has been hailed as a hero after refusing a R15,000 bribe and instead arresting a Malawian national who was trying to cross the border with a stolen vehicle worth approximately R980,000.


The incident occurred when the officer stopped the suspect at a border crossing and discovered that the vehicle he was driving had been reported stolen. The suspect offered the officer a bribe of R15,000 to let him pass, but the officer refused and arrested the suspect instead.


The officer's actions have been praised by the South African Police Service (SAPS) and the public, who commend him for his integrity and commitment to upholding the law. The suspect is now facing charges related to the possession of stolen property and attempting to bribe a law enforcement officer.
