In a proactive move, the Bauchi State Police Command has successfully apprehended two individuals linked to the vandalism and theft of government assets worth millions at ongoing project sites.
The suspects, identified as Ibrahim Mohammed Inuwa, a 26-year-old truck driver, and Ukasha Abdulmalik, a 17-year-old resident of Karofin Madaki, were caught red-handed on December 5, 2024, at about 11:00 AM loading a stolen concrete cave belonging to Bauchi state government. This operation was spearheaded by SP David Silas, who oversees the Command’s Works Department and in conjunction with Bauchi State Ministry of Works.
